Elizabeth has given several talks on rural prairie communities. She also speaks about the writing and editing process, imparting to aspiring writers what it takes to become a published author. She currently instructs continuing education courses on writing and editing, which allows her the opportunity to stay up to date on changes in the fields of writing, editing and publishing.

Elizabeth is available for speaking engagements on a variety of topics, including research, writing, and editing, as well as enterprise and inspiration in rural communities faced with extinction. Her talks are personal and interactive, and her story-telling style intrigues the listener. She is willing to accommodate any size audience.
